Using the small 100g, +/-0.01g scale we sell, we weighed our dispenses by (1) weigh empty cart (2) fill same cart to 1.0mL (3) weigh again. Our standard deviation was nearly perfect: 0.011grams. AND… you can bump your dispense in case the average is too low or too high, about 6 bumps per 0.1mL.
Tired of tired fingers?
If you are using a hand-held syringe (we have a patent pending concerning this), if your finger gets tired after 100’s of carts – your dispense is low – potentially upsetting customers. Some of our customers dispense 5,000 to 15,000 carts per day!
Are you wasting product?
We dispense precisely and accurately. You can weigh your dispense with our small scale to verify. If you dispense, say, 0.02mL more than you intend – it’s like giving away 20 carts per 1,000 (1.0mL). That is money you are giving away! And if less than you say – you can upset customers.
We modify our vet syringe for accurate dispensing – and no bubbles. (You might get some bubbles on a cart or two after a product change out – due to air in the line. You could fix that by catching and returning the first few fills). If air is leaking into an unmodified syringe, your customers might see bubbles.
“She keeps her motor clean; the best damn woman that I ever seen”. You take on a lot of responsibility in dispense. Keep a clean, spare syringe at the ready. You can use the same carton to ship your worn or groady syringe back to us for an ultrasonic clean-up and possible parts replacement.
Syringe heaters (the curly type) often get dirty. We have not found a good way to clean them (yet). But you can buy a spare and swap them out using the connector. The vessel heater (the belt one) usually does not get dirty, but we can swap them out too.
When you are under the gun to get product out, you need a set of spares to keep pumping. Most people should have these spares on hand: spring/ball/tube kit, syringe, syringe heater, replacement syringe. We also recommend you get a small 100g scale to check your dispense occasionally during a run.
We will consider any of your ideas for improvements to this product as well as any similar products you think would be useful. We are working on a capping machine with emphasis on accurate finished length and no breakage. If you want to beta-test that machine, let us know.
Hey big users
Just want you to know the value of the machine you bought. Some of our customers say they have done over ONE MILLION CARTS. At $7,000 that is well less than one penny per dispense. If you have done “only” 100,000 carts that is 7 cents per dispense. Don’t you wish everything was that cheap?
Made in north America
We try to make as much as possible on this side of the Pacific, mainly here in Arizona: PCB, all machined aluminum parts, machined box, and plastics – plus all assembly. Kinda have to get the touchscreen in asia; but looking to get the ball-screw and possibly the motor and driver here in the US or Mexico.
